I eat salads every week. They’re one of my favorite one-bowl meals. Unfortunately, most store-bought salad dressings are NOT paleo. In fact, many of them are laced with sugar, sodium, trans fat, and refined oils. Probably not what you had in mind to pour over your leafy, green vegetables.
Fortunately, with just a few ingredients, you can whip up some tasty Paleo salad dressing in 10 minutes or less. Seriously, once you try it, you’ll wonder why anyone ever buys bottled dressing. If you can shake a jar, you can make your own dressing. As a bonus, it tastes so much better than preservative filled dressings you’re used to.
When you look at this recipe, you’ll see honey among the list of ingredients and may think, “Wait a sec, this is sugar, and sugar is bad right?” Well, yes and no. Yes, honey is sugar, and you don’t want to eat it by the spoonful, but if you buy the right type of honey (raw and organic), it can actually be good for you in small amounts. So use this amazing Paleo honey mustard dressing on a big bowl of fresh greens and veggies, and feel good about it.
